With Summer nearly over, we are now edging towards Fall and Winter. As such, it is vital that we identify our allergies through allergy testing, so we know what to avoid and what can give our digestive systems a boost. So, the question is, do you live in one of the top 10 worst cities in America for allergy sufferers? Read on to find out more.
What are allergies and what is allergy testing?
Allergies cause havoc around the world, with watery eyes, headaches and itchy noses affecting many of us in the way we live our lives. If you suffer from an allergy such as hay fever then you have most likely suffered through the Summer. What is a better time there to be prepared for other than Winter? Allergy testing could mean that you can enjoy your Christmas holidays wherever you go.
According to the AAFA, there are certain cities across the U.S. which are affected by allergies more than others. What you may be surprised to know is that the Southern parts of the U.S. are the most affected by allergies, as hay fever has been increasingly common across McAllen, Texas; Louisville, Kentucky; and Jackson, Mississippi making the top three. If you live in one of these places, then you will know what we are talking about and are probably considering allergy testing.
What about the Northerners? Well, the only northern areas which make the AAFA’s top ten include Providence, Rhode Island; Dayton, Ohio; and Syracuse, New York, and they all fall in the Eastern areas of the country. Is this a surprise?
