We have been offering wellness services to clients and partners since 2008. The business started with complementary and alternative medicines (CAMs), providing help and support to those that had exhausted conventional health paths. We rapidly developed a more extensive range of tests to include those that were scientifically supported and products from trusted brands.
Our global network of websites and partners now reaches over 40 countries providing allergy, intolerance, sensitivity, and other health-related tests to clients.
We remain committed to our core belief that individuals should be presented with the relevant key facts relating to tests available to them and from those key facts they can make an informed decision on which path to take.
This is why we continue to offer both conventional and complementary products and services, therefore, offering the most comprehensive choice to a potential client. All our tests have a ‘Test Facts’ statement giving you the essential relevant information about the test. We were the first company to create and implement this useful aid in ensuring clients understand the test they are buying in November 2019.
Our head office and laboratories are located in Derby, United Kingdom. The labs follow Good Laboratory Practice and our state-of-the-art allergy and intolerance lab is part of a facility certified according to ISO 9001. We continue to invest in the latest equipment and training to ensure we provide our customers with the best possible service.
Choice of convention
As an organisation, we believe that not one size fits all. For some, conventional products and services offer the very best choice; for others, they may have exhausted those options. By giving our clients relevant information to make an informed decision, we believe we offer the widest and most diverse forms of testing.
We use a dedicated secure server to host our websites and transactional infrastructure. We also have our own CRM system ‘HealthSuite’. Our team are regularly trained and audited for data protection compliance, and we adopt an access protocol to ensure data is not shared or accessed by individuals that lack the correct authority. All confidential documentation is processed by a confidential waste company. All waste samples are also disposed of as medical waste and incinerated.
As a business, we continue to grow our team through the combination of high calibre recruitment and internal training. Our laboratories and technicians are headed by Laboratory & Compliance Director Michelle Wakefield and our Laboratory Manager Joseph Bentley. All of our box packaging are now recyclable and uses plant-based ink. Our offices and labs use recycling of non-confidential waste, and we promote the use of energy-saving devices throughout the business. Our goal is to move to suppliers of essential services such as energy, waste disposal and consumables that are either carbon neutral or from renewable sources.

The Complementary Medical Association
In 2021, Healthy Stuff was granted membership to the Complementary Medical Association who proudly promote ethical, responsible, professional businesses to the public and the medical professionals.
The CMA are dedicated to offering only the very best treatments and services possible and represent complementary medicine and natural healthcare. It is their responsibility to represent business to the government, ensuring that collective voices are heard regarding policymaking and decisions that impact health and our rights to practice or teach.
We are looking forward to working with the CMA and providing our customers via our membership profile, training videos and educational seminars with further information about health and complementary medicine to help them in their journey. With the help of the CMA, we can continue to help more people and get further knowledge to improve their lives.
We are constantly striving for excellence in our industry and our local area. We are very proud to be a member of the East Midlands Chamber of Commerce, the second largest in the country. As a member of the community, we are involved in fundraising, local tree planting, and national awards.
In 2019, we were nominated for three categories in the Derbyshire Business Awards, and we were honoured to have won the E-Commerce Business of the Year. This award was given to us for our successful growth globally, postal hubs in three regions, and 24/7 LiveChat service.
We were then nominated for two awards in the Derbyshire Business Awards, 2020 with the East Midlands Chamber, and although the awards happened digitally due to Covid-19, we were awarded Business Improvement through Technology following the launch of our app for results, the creation of our own CRM System and faster digital results delivery.
The following year, in 2021, we also received a nomination for Business Improvement through Technology. Although this year we did not win due to intense competition, we were still honoured to have our new range of at-home health test kits mentioned as a way of optimising and monitoring your well-being.
